Mitsubishi Electric announces the launch of the new FX3UC controller, a compact addition to their most powerful line of micro PLCs, the MELSEC FX3U series.

The new controller is almost identical to the FX3U, but is nearly a quarter as wide. The smallest base unit in the new line, with eight digital inputs and eight transistor outputs, measures just 35 x 90 x 89mm (W x H x D).

Key Features of the FX3U/FX3UC Micro PLCs
• Processing speed of 0.065µs per logical instruction
• Two expansion bus systems, standard on right, high-speed on left
• Three separate serial ports: RS-422 programming port and up to two serial port modules (RS-232, RS-485, etc.)
