  • SICK ICR803 Barcode Reader
  • Mitsubishi E700 Series VFDs
SICK, Inc.: ICR803 -- Small + Omnidirectional = Ideal: A Compact Scanner for 1D and 2D Codes

With the ICR803 - the latest product in the camera-based ICR series - SICK is presenting an omnidirectional code reader in a compact housing. The device is designed for applications in which objects must be identified in any alignment, but there is only limited mounting space for the reading device.

The ICR803 can handle linear (1D) bar code (UPC, C39, C128, etc.), stacked codes, 2D codes, and OCR plain writing, as well as pure image capture, omnidirectionally ( in any orientation). Built-in LED illumination, the latest imaging technology and a choice of USB or RS-232 interface is integrated in the 49 x 40 x 25 mm housing. No external decoder, illumination or interface adapter is required. The ICR803 is extremely reliable in operation, because the code reader – designed for stationary use – contains no moving parts that can fail, become misaligned or age. This makes the ICR803 the ideal identification solution for, among others, analysers and small automatic systems, or handling and robot systems.
