SICK, Inc.: CQ28 Capacitive Proximity Sensors
SICK is pleased to announce its newest capacitive sensor - the CQ28. This
programmable capacitive sensor features a unique thin, sleek design packed with
flexibility. Its flat housing offers numerous mounting options, while maintaining
room for visibility of 2 LEDs as well as push-button teach-in functionality.
As a result of its thin design, the CQ28 offers numerous mounting options,
including clamp fitting, tie-wrap mounting, and recessed installations. Despite
its size, the unit features two LEDs, which show the current switching state
and the quality of detection. The CQ28 allows for adjustment of the sensing
distance using either a teach button on the unit, or a teach-by-wire functionality.
The CQ28 is available with either a PNP or NPN switching output.
