SICK, Inc.: OD-Max Transparent - Optical Displacement Sensors Taken to the Next Level

SICK is pleased to present the new OD-MAX Transparent series of Optical Displacement Sensors. These new products augment the existing line of Optical Displacement sensors, which includes the OD-Standard, OD-CMOS, and OD-MAX. A primary advantage of using the OD-MAX Transparent is that it can detect the position of transparent targets, such as electronic components mounted on a printed circuit board. The OD-MAX Transparent sensor is available in one model with a sensing range of 25 mm ± 1 millimeter with accuracy to 0.1 micron. All of the OD-MAX family features described below also apply to the OD-MAX Transparent model.

Sola/Hevi-Duty: S4K6U - Compact 10kVA Online UPS

Sola/Hevi-Duty has introduced the new S4K6U Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) which offers customers advanced on-line features in an ultra compact package. The S4K6U combines 10 kVA of power capacity, flexible output voltage, internal batteries and an integrated maintenance bypass switch all in a 6U enclosure.

The on-line features and slim enclosure provide perfect protection for applications such as Industrial Computers, Automation Systems, Robotics and Process Controls.

The UPS automatically senses the input voltage and configures the output inverters to match the input supply providing simultaneous output voltages. This enables users to power a variety of loads with different voltages without an additional transformer.
